Jytte Elfferich started working at Boekx Advocaten in the beginning of 2020. She advises on all aspects of media law, intellectual property and privacy.
Jytte obtained her bachelor’s degree in Dutch law at the University of Amsterdam. She then followed two masters programmes: the masters in Information Law at the Institute for Information Law (IVIR) and the masters in Public and European International Law. Jytte wrote her thesis on the right to damages in case of violations of the Data Protection Regulation. During her studies, Jytte participated in exchange programmes at the University of New South Wales in Australia and at the Xiamen Academy of International Law in China.
Before joining Boekx, Jytte worked as a legal assistant at the Clinic Law Incubator, where she advised individuals and companies on intellectual property and Internet law. She also did various internships, including at two renowned Dutch IP/IT niche firms, a law firm in Cape Town and at Oxfam Novib.
