Fabienne Dohmen advises on various aspects of data protection law, technology, and intellectual property. She has experience in implementing and supervising GDPR compliance projects and in supporting clients that are confronted with data breaches. Fabienne’s clients are active in sectors such as healthcare, IT, retail, media, culture, and advertising. Fabienne gained in-house experience with a start-up company in the field of eHealth and is interested in the use of digital applications in healthcare. She is also involved in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and advises on copyright law, image law and trademark law.
Fabienne was admitted to the Amsterdam bar in 2014. Before joining Boekx, she worked as an advocaat at Kennedy Van der Laan.
Fabienne graduated in Information Law and International and European Law from the University of Amsterdam. After her studies, Fabienne further deepened her knowledge of intellectual property law with an LL.M. in Intellectual Property and Competition Law at the Max Planck Institute in Munich.
During her studies, Fabienne worked at the Institute for Information Law (IvIR) on a major comparative law study commissioned by the European Commission into the protection of (the rights to) sports events.
