Lotte van Schuylenburch joined Boekx as an associate in May 2021. She was admitted to the bar in Amsterdam in 2018 and specialises in intellectual property law and media law. Lotte also regularly advises on privacy law.
Lotte studied Dutch law at the University of Utrecht. During her bachelor’s degree she spent a semester at the University of Lund in Sweden. Subsequently, Lotte obtained her master’s degree in Information Law at the Institute for Information Law of the University of Amsterdam. During this period she was part of Clinic, a law incubator that offers free legal advice to start-ups and individuals in the field of media, intellectual property and privacy.
Before joining Boekx, Lotte worked as a lawyer at the international law firms DLA Piper and Simmons & Simmons. During that period Lotte gained extensive experience in advising and litigating cases concerning libel and defamation, trademark infringements and the protection of privacy.
Lotte is a member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
