Marc de Boer (1964) was admitted to the Amsterdam bar in 1990 and founded Boekx Advocaten together with Matthijs Kaaks in 2005.

Marc is a highly experienced media and IP lawyer. For many years he has been the permanent legal advisor to a large number of leading players in the media and entertainment industry. He can count a number of large and successful domestic and international television producers among his regular clients. In addition, he advises TV personalities on issues of contract law and image law.

In 2019, Marc was appointed as a deputy judge at the District Court of Noord-Holland (Alkmaar).

Since February 2023, Marc is a member of the NPO Committee. This committee is tasked with advising the NPO board of directors if an objection has been raised against a decision.
